To run cold outreach campaigns in SkySenders, you must connect sending email accounts. SkySenders natively supports the three primary mailbox architectures: Google Workspace (G Suite), Microsoft Outlook / Office 365, and custom SMTP/IMAP servers.
1. Connecting Google Workspace (G Suite) Accounts
Google Workspace enforces strict third-party security policies. Before connecting a Google mailbox to SkySenders for the first time, your Google Workspace Super Admin must whitelist the SkySenders client application:
Step 1: Log in to admin.google.com using your Google Workspace Super Admin account.
Step 2: In the left navigation menu (☰), navigate to Security → Access and data control → API controls.
Step 3: Under API Controls, select Manage Third-Party App Access.
Step 4: Click Configure New App and choose OAuth App Name or Client ID.
Step 5: Paste the official SkySenders Google Client ID into the search bar: 927572967434-8e766e2edbv81frcupeucoq4o6pee6v5.apps.googleusercontent.com and click Search.
Step 6: Select SkySenders, set the app access level to Trusted, and click Configure.
Step 7: Return to SkySenders and click the blue Connect with Google button to sign in and grant mailbox sending permissions.
2. Connecting Microsoft Outlook / Office 365 Accounts
SkySenders is an officially verified Microsoft partner application:
Direct OAuth Authentication: Because SkySenders is pre-verified by Microsoft, connecting Outlook mailboxes does not require complex admin console configurations.
Connection Flow: Select Microsoft Outlook, click Connect, and sign in directly with your Microsoft work or school account via standard single sign-on (SSO). Grant permissions when prompted.
3. Connecting Custom SMTP & IMAP Mailboxes
If you use private SMTP infrastructure, Zoho, Namecheap, Amazon SES, or custom mail servers, connect using direct SMTP/IMAP credentials:
Account Information: Enter your Full Name (sender display name), User Name (your email address), and Password (or generated App Password).
SMTP (Outgoing Mail): Specify your SMTP Host (e.g. smtp.domain.com), SMTP Port (typically 465 for SSL or 587 for TLS), and check Use SSL/TLS.
IMAP (Incoming Mail): Specify your IMAP Host (e.g. imap.domain.com), IMAP Port (typically 993), and check Use SSL/TLS. IMAP access is essential for SkySenders Unibox to sync incoming replies.
Custom Reply-To: Optionally check Use a different reply-to address if replies should be redirected to an alternate inbox.
Testing & Saving: Click Verify SMTP to perform an immediate handshake test. Once validated, click Save & Complete.
