Mailbox Warmup: Profiles, Health Score & Inbox Placement

Learn how automated email warmup works in SkySenders. Configure warmup profiles, ramp-up speeds, weekday schedules, and track inbox placement.

Automated email warmup is the foundation of high-converting cold outreach. SkySenders built-in peer warmup network exchanges realistic, AI-generated emails with other authenticated inboxes, automatically opening, marking as important, and replying to build positive sender reputation.

1. Warmup Overview & Real-Time Stats

Under the Warmup tab of any mailbox, SkySenders visualizes your account warmup progress:

  • Status & Warmup Age: Displays whether warmup is Active or Inactive, along with the cumulative warmup age (e.g. 14+ days). New mailboxes should warm up for at least 14 days before launching outreach.

  • Mailbox Health Score: A composite health index out of 100 (e.g. 99.41 / 100 Healthy) reflecting sender trustworthiness across the warmup network.

  • Inbox Placement: The percentage of warmup emails that successfully land in recipient Primary inboxes (aim for 95%+).

  • Spam Placement: The percentage of warmup messages filtered into spam or junk folders (keep under 2–5%). SkySenders automatically rescues spam-flagged warmup messages to re-train mail provider filters.

2. Warmup Profiles & Ramp-Up Configuration

Clicking Preview Profile reveals the detailed sending and ramp-up parameters assigned to your mailbox (e.g. "Microsoft 365 Default Warmup"):

  • Start with Emails/Day: The initial number of warmup emails sent on Day 1 (typically 5 emails/day).

  • Warmup Email Ramp-up: The daily incremental volume increase (e.g., ramping up by +5 emails each day).

  • Maximum Email Sent/Day: The ceiling cap for daily warmup messages (e.g. 20 or 30 emails/day) to prevent over-utilization.

  • Warmup Reply Rate %: The percentage of sent warmup emails that receive automated peer replies (e.g. 30%). High reply rates signal genuine human interaction to ESP algorithms.

  • Schedule Timezone: The reference timezone governing your daily warmup delivery windows.

3. Warmup Sending Schedule

You can calibrate when warmup emails are dispatched to mirror natural business patterns:

  • Only Weekdays (Recommended): Sends warmup messages exclusively Monday through Friday, matching corporate B2B behavior.

  • Including Weekends: Dispatches emails 7 days a week for steady, uninterrupted volume.

4. Tracking Placement Rates & Warmup ESP Distribution

The lower charts display daily Inbox vs. Spam placement trends alongside an ESP Breakdown (showing the proportion of Gmail, Outlook, Zoho, and other accounts interacting with your sender in the warmup pool).
