Your sending domain is the root identity of your cold outreach. In SkySenders, the Domains section provides automated monitoring of your domain authentication records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX) and tracks aggregate delivery metrics across all mailboxes hosted on each domain.
1. Domains Dashboard Telemetry
At the top of the Domains screen, summary cards alert you to domain infrastructure health:
Domains: The total number of connected sending domains in your workspace.
Authentication Error: The count of domains failing one or more essential DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, or MX). An orange or red badge highlights domains requiring immediate DNS attention.
Deliverability Rate: Aggregate delivery rate percentage for all emails originating from this domain (e.g. 100% - Good).
Email Authentication Summary: Displays an instant summary of which specific DNS records have Passed or Failed (e.g. SPF Passed, DKIM Failed, DMARC Failed, MX Passed).
2. Understanding the 4 Core Authentication Records
Inside any domain overview, SkySenders runs continuous DNS validation. Click Check Status to perform an on-demand re-check:
SPF (Sender Policy Framework): Specifies which mail servers and IP addresses are authorized to send email on behalf of your domain. A Pass badge verifies that SkySenders or your provider is authorized.
DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail): Attaches a tamper-proof cryptographic signature to outgoing messages. Failing DKIM can cause spam filters to categorize emails as spoofed or fraudulent.
DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication): Instructs receiving mail servers what to do if SPF or DKIM fails (none, quarantine, or reject). Modern providers like Google and Yahoo require an active DMARC policy.
MX (Mail Exchange): Validates that your domain has active MX records pointing to your email provider so incoming replies and bounce reports can be delivered.
3. Domain Performance & Recipient ESP Distribution
The Overview tab aggregates performance across all mailboxes associated with the domain:
Campaign Engagement: Total Emails Sent, Received replies, and Bounces across the domain.
Performance Ratings: Overall Delivery Rate (e.g. 100% Excellent) and Bounced Rate (e.g. 0% Excellent).
ESP Breakdown: Visualizes recipient provider distribution (Gmail, Outlook, Zoho, Yahoo, Other).
Email Engagement Timeline: Time-series chart tracking daily sent volume, replies, hard bounces, and soft bounces for the domain.
