👥 Team Members: Inviting Users & Role Permissions (RBAC)

Master role-based access control in SkySenders: invite colleagues and configure Admin, Member, Inbox Manager, Viewer, and Mailbox Manager roles.

SkySenders offers granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to let you invite colleagues, SDRs, Account Executives, and external agencies while ensuring sensitive billing and administrative settings remain protected.

1. Inviting Team Members

To add users to your workspace:

  • Navigate to Workspace → Workspace Settings → Team Members.

  • Click the blue Invite Team Member button in the top right.

  • Enter the colleague's email address ([email protected]).

  • Select their specific role from the dropdown.

  • Click + Add Member to invite multiple colleagues in a single batch.

  • Click Send Invites. Recipients will receive an email invitation to access the workspace.

2. Comprehensive Roles & Permissions Breakdown

SkySenders supports 5 distinct operational roles to match your sales org structure:

  • Admin: Full administrative access. Can manage the workspace, invite team members, assign roles, create campaigns, edit settings, and manage billing.

  • Member: Standard sales rep access. Full access to create and run campaigns, import contacts, and send emails, but restricted from team management and workspace settings.

  • Inbox Manager: Dedicated reply handling role. Has view-only access across campaigns and contacts, with specific permission to reply, forward, and categorize conversations from the unified Unibox.

  • Viewer: Auditor/stakeholder role. Read-only access to view campaign reports and analytics across the app, without permission to edit data, access billing, or change settings.

  • Mailbox Manager: Infrastructure specialist role. Access is restricted exclusively to the mailboxes module to connect, authenticate, and monitor sender accounts, without access to campaigns, inbox, settings, or billing.

3. Managing Existing Team Members

The Team Members table displays member emails, full names, assigned roles, join dates, and live Active status. Use the three-dots menu (...) on any member row to adjust roles, resend invites, or revoke access.
