🚫 Workspace Suppression List: Blocking Domains & Unsubscribes

Manage your workspace-wide suppression list. Block competitors, domain suffixes, and track automated unsubscribes.

The Suppression List is your workspace global safeguard against contacting opted-out prospects, existing enterprise customers, competitors, or blacklisted domains. Any contact or domain present on the suppression list is permanently barred from receiving messages across all campaigns.

1. How Suppression Operates in SkySenders

  • Automatic Import Filtering: When uploading new CSV files or creating lists, SkySenders cross-checks the Suppression List and excludes blocked records automatically.

  • Campaign Protection: If an enrolled lead is subsequently added to the suppression list, ongoing campaign sequences to that address halt immediately.

2. Suppression Sources

  • Unsubscribe Source: Contacts who click the unsubscribe link in your outreach emails are automatically added to the Suppression List with an "Unsubscribe" tag.

  • Manual Block Source: Entries added manually by team members to block specific competitors, internal accounts, or dissatisfied prospects.

3. Adding Entries (Domain vs. Email Address)

Click the Add Entry button in the top right corner to open the Add Email/Domain modal:

  • Domain Block (Recommended for Competitors & Clients): Select the Domain radio option and enter the root domain (e.g. example.com). All current and future contacts possessing an @example.com email address will be blocked workspace-wide.

  • Email Address Block: Select Email Address and input a single specific contact (e.g. [email protected]) to suppress only that individual.

4. Searching & Managing Blocked Records

The Suppression List table displays the blocked Value, Type (Domain or Email), Source, and the Blocked On timestamp. Use the search bar to check whether a prospect is suppressed, or select rows to remove them if a client requests to resume communication.
