Webhooks enable real-time, event-driven data streaming between SkySenders and your external systems. Whenever a prospect replies, a LinkedIn connection is accepted, an email bounces, or an account disconnects, SkySenders instantly pushes an event notification to your destination endpoint.
SkySenders supports two types of webhook integrations:
1. Custom Webhook (HTTP POST): Delivers standard JSON payloads directly to your HTTPS endpoint, API gateway, Zapier, Make, n8n, or CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive).
2. Slack Webhook: Posts formatted notification cards directly into a designated Slack channel, keeping your sales team alerted to hot leads and disconnected accounts in real time.
For Slack notifications, you must provide a Slack Incoming Webhook URL that has permission to post in your chosen channel:
Step 1: Visit the Slack App Directory: Create a Slack webhook (https://my.slack.com/apps/new/A0F7XDUAZ-incoming-webhooks).
Step 2: Select your Slack workspace and choose the target channel for notifications (e.g. #sales-leads or #outreach-alerts).
Step 3: Click "Add Incoming WebHooks Integration" and copy the generated Webhook URL (format: https://hooks.slack.com/services/...).
Step 4: Return to SkySenders, choose "Slack Webhook" as the Provider Type, and paste the copied URL into the Webhook URL field.
SkySenders provides granular event subscriptions across email engagement, LinkedIn touches, and infrastructure health:

Step 1: In the left navigation, go to Workspace > Developer Options > Webhooks.
Step 2: Click the blue "+ Add Webhook" button in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Choose your Provider Type: select either "Slack Webhook" or "Custom Webhook".
Step 4: Enter a descriptive Name (e.g. "Slack Alert, CRM Push").
Step 5: Enter your destination endpoint in the Webhook URL field.
Step 6: Under "Select Event Types", check the boxes next to the events you want this webhook to capture.
Step 7: Click "Test Webhook" to send a test event payload and verify your server or channel receives it.
Step 8: Click "Save Webhook" to activate real-time event delivery.
Best Practice Tip: We strongly recommend setting up a dedicated Slack alert for Email Disconnected and LinkedIn Disconnected events so your operations team can resolve expired app passwords or proxy issues immediately.
