🚀 Campaigns & Sequencing FAQ

Answers to common questions regarding multi-channel sequence creation, delay rules, lead auto-pausing, A/B testing variants, and Spintax distribution.

Explore answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding multi-channel sequence creation, delay rules, lead auto-pausing, A/B testing variants, and Spintax distribution in SkySenders Outreach.

1. How many steps and variants can I include in a single sequence?

SkySenders places no hard limits on the number of steps in a sequence. You can build comprehensive multi-channel workflows combining initial touchpoints, delay branches, and follow-ups across Email and LinkedIn. Every Email step supports up to 5 A/B test variants (Variant A through Variant E), allowing you to experiment with different subject lines, value propositions, and calls to action simultaneously.

2. What happens when a prospect replies to an outreach message?

By default, SkySenders operates on an automated 'Stop on Reply' trigger (stop_contact_when = ON_REPLY). The moment a prospect sends a reply on either Email or LinkedIn:

  • All pending future sequence steps for that contact across both channels are immediately canceled.

  • The conversation is routed in real time to Unibox with an unread badge.

  • Smart AI Categorization evaluates the reply text and assigns an automated sentiment tag (e.g. Positive, Meeting Booked, Not Interested).

  • If 'Stop contact on company-level reply' is enabled, all pending outreach to other contacts at the same company domain is also automatically paused to prevent duplicate outreach.

3. Can I combine Email and LinkedIn in the same sequence?

Yes. SkySenders' visual sequence builder is natively multi-channel. A typical high-converting sequence structure is:

  1. Day 1: LinkedIn Profile Visit (soft touch notification).

  2. Day 2: Email Step 1 (personalized value proposition with spintax).

  3. Day 4: LinkedIn Connection Request with a contextual note.

  4. Condition Branch: If LinkedIn connection accepted -> Send LinkedIn Direct Message.

  5. Condition Branch: If LinkedIn connection not accepted after 3 days -> Send follow-up Email Step 2 in the same email thread.

4. Can I edit an active campaign while it is running?

Yes. You can edit campaign sequence copy, add new A/B variants, adjust daily new contact limits, update sending schedules, and upload additional contact lists at any time without having to pause the campaign. Edits apply dynamically to all future scheduled touchpoints while preserving all already-executed steps.

5. What is Spintax and how do RANDOM vs PATTERN distribution work?

Spintax allows you to create varied sentence structures like {Hi|Hello|Hey} {{firstName}}, {hope you are having a productive week|quick question for you}. SkySenders supports two distribution modes:

  • RANDOM: Picks spintax choices randomly on each dispatch. Ideal for large lists where maximum variation across mailboxes is preferred.

  • PATTERN: Systematically rotates through spintax choices in a predictable round-robin index, ensuring an even distribution of variations across leads.
